This Clear Embossing Ink is perfect to use when making Faux Wax Seals. The ink acts as a release agent for your Seal Stamp (rubber or metal), so the Faux Wax doesn't stick in the crevices of it.
Because the Ink is clear, you can use this pad with any of your Faux Wax colors without the ink showing on your seal. If you are making a large number of seals (such as on Wedding Invitations), this makes the process go so much faster than other methods (i.e. putting your seal in the freezer, holding it against ice cubes, dipping in cold water). Just press your seal stamp LIGHTLY into the Clear Ink, rub off any excess ink, then press into your melted Faux Wax. Let the faux wax cool for about 10 seconds (with the seal stamp still in it), then remove your seal stamp. It is that simple!
Rubber Stamp enthusiasts can also use this with embossing powders and heat gun to create beautiful embossed designs on Hand-Crafted Cards, Envelopes, Tags, altered books - whatever your imagination can come up with! Pad measures 2.25" by 3.5" - standard ink pad size fits many of your most popular rubber stamp sizes.
